Everyone is speaking about inflation and things getting more and more expensive these days. Keeping track of your budget helps, but can be elaborate and complex.
Which is why we spent this summer working on our project — "Marie". The app helps keeping track about your everyday spending by simply scanning receipts and invoices. With the help of AI, Marie analyses your image and stores all necessary informations safely on your device and iCloud.
Why Marie?
"Marie" is not only a typical German woman's name, but quite a few years ago it was also the abbreviation for the Maria-Theresien-Taler, a minted silver coin with the image of the former Austrian Empress Maria-Theresia in the 18th century. It was not long before the name "Marie" thus established itself as a synonym for money in general in beautiful Austria.

Whatever you call your necessities: the app "Marie" helps you to organise your money better and not to lose track of it. Simple, fast and of course secure!
The people behind…
We are Philipp and Jakob. Besides our studies of computer science at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg we found our passion in making the world a little bit easier with digital products. This is also the goal behind our app Marie. We hope that Marie will give you a better overview of your finances!
